Security & Safety Management in Regions

This bachelor study programme is focused on the study of management, safety and crisis management. On completion of the programme its graduates should be able to:

  • Acquire legal knowledge and skills essential to perform duties of public servants in public administration positions.
  • Possess competences required in addressing safety measures, emergency events, and crisis situations.
  • Acquire communication skills and knowledge of basic management, economic, and social processes.
  • Acquire knowledge of and learn about risk management, civil protection, and crisis management practices.

The programme offers two specializations:

  • Public Administration
  • Safety and Law

Graduates can pursue their careers, for example, in the following positions:

  • heads of public administration departments (such as municipal or local or regional authorities, ministries, government bodies, etc.);
  • crisis managers in public services or the private sector;
  • at the municipal police or Police of the Czech Republic;
  • managers in security services;
  • managers in other areas of economics.
